A course in advanced techniques of spatial data analysis, dealing with the exploration of spatial autocorrelation and principles of spatial regression. An important aspect of the course is to gain hands-on experience in applying these techniques using the GeoDa software package and the spdep package of the R software. The main goal of the class is for you to become familiar with the methodological and practical issues involved in carrying out advanced applied spatial data analysis.
