CSISS and SAL cooperate with the R-Geo initiative to consolidate, develop and facilitate the use of spatial data analysis software written in the R language.

The R project provides an environment for spatial data analysis. We are attempting to bring together links to software and documentation either already on the Comprehensive R Archive Network, but difficult to find, or not yet submitted to CRAN. This site is under development, and new links will be added as work progresses. It also provides access to the R-sig-Geo mailing list .
